The Retina's Eye: FUNKDEFY funk-n-soul party

FUNKDEFY is a music side project that The Retina's Eye and Studio H has worked with
from conception. Performing for almost four years, the musical event is hosted by the
widely talented DJs Ginsu, Funky D, Reverend Pimp and Mikey G. The FUNKDEFY crew
plays Heavy Funk, Northern Soul and Rare Groove from the 1960's and 70's. Not only will
the music make you want to get down, but the night is highlighted by a visual kaleidoscope
of blaxsploitation and kung fu flix on the big screen. Space is always provided for all of the
"b-boys and b-girls" who have the urge to break it down. FUNKDEFY is one of the most
unique and best music scenes in Columbus, Ohio. Come on out and check it out! Don't

Funkdefy is once again proud to bring back THE DYNAMITES featuring CHARLES
WALKER! With people still begging for more from their last show, The Dynamites featuring
Charles Walker will be struttin back to Ravari Room to give you the most sizzlin show in
December! This is a show of shows to kick off the holidays. Charles Walker is a legend in
his own right. The fire in his voice is backed up by the scorching Dynamites band that will
keep your feet slidin, hips shakin, and jaw droppin all at the same time. As if that is not
enough, Columbus's own MOJOFLO will kick off the night with their special brand of funk
that will let the people know how Columbus does it. FUNKDEFY will be behind the scenes
throwing down the Heavy Funk, Northern Soul and Rare Groove that you love on wax!
