About the series

In the early days of photography, portraits were the primary use of the camera.  Over the decades, portraiture has still been a focus of the lens.  Regardless of the context, the attempt has always been the same, to capture the persona of the subject.  During work on previous projects, The Retina’s Eye always wanted to capture a moment or place.  More importaintly, to capture the person.  These casual moments became the focus of "People!", a series that has become a continuously evolving project.  The photographs seen here are from the series "People!", as well as individual photographs that have been exhibited or presented on it own.
